Q&A with Budtender and Canna-enthusiast Vero
Q: Please give us a brief introduction of yourself, what you do, how long you've been smoking, and what you do for fun?
Hey there, cannacorillx! My name is Veronica (AKA “verovero”). I am a certified budtender, cannaseur and cannabis- infused cooking enthusiast that also runs her own cannabis related Instagram page (IDK if I should call myself a canna-influencer, since I am just a patient/budtender trying to express myself creatively, while helping and guiding others on their own journey with cannabis in any way that I can.
I started smoking cannabis at 18, obviously not legally, and most certainly for recreational purposes only. It was never an everyday thing, and only when and if I could obtain it. It wasn’t until later in life that my physical and mental health began to worsen, and then I became a patient to learn more about how I can finally see some improvement. It opened a huge door of opportunity. I began to educate myself further, not just to see my health get better with time, but also to help others. That is when I decided that I also wanted to work with this magical little flower that has helped me get through so much.
Right now, I work everyday and COVID restrictions have been hard on my “fun”, but I do enjoy photography, reading and writing poetry, watching movies and cooking with cannabis at home, when I can.

Q: What got you into cannabis? How long have you been a user?
Originally, only recreational use with friends, now I am a patient and use it every day for both medical AND recreational use. Have been a user on and off for 15 years.
Q: How often do you smoke / use cannabis?
Everyday... When I wake up and right before I go to work, and at night before I go to sleep.
Q: What are your favorite methods of administration? Dabbing? Vaping? Joints? Blunts? Spliffs?
I prefer smoking my pipe and bong, but I also like to vaporize herb and vaping carts.
Q: How does it make you feel?
Amazing. My chronic pain is greatly reduced for a while, and it makes me feel happier and more relaxed.
Q: Do you smoke recreationally or for therapeutic benefits?
Both.
Q: What is your message for other people who are curious about cannabis?
Don’t be afraid to become a better you. Cannabis can help.
Q: What's your favorite strain(s)?
Ed Rosenthal / Spec Ops
Q: What would you like to see for the future of this industry?
Legalization and freedom to grow your own cannabis. Everyone deserves to have access to their medicine without so much of the hassle.
Q: What more would you like to learn about cannabis or the cannabis industry?
Anything that helps me grow as a cannaseur and as a budtender to better help my patients.
Q: Any words of advice to new users?
Microdosing is key. Less is sometimes more.
Q: Any words of advice for people in general?
Live your life to the fullest. We don’t know how much we have left on this Earth.
Q: How would you say cannabis enhances your experiences, whether it be for your creative art/craft or just life in general?
It boosts my creativity; helps me focus, while keeping me relaxed and happy.
Q: What's one of your most memorable moments involving cannabis?
Baking my first canna-brownie. It wasn’t perfect, but it was way delicious and pretty strong. I was very proud of myself.
Q: Where can we learn more about what you do? Instagram? Facebook? Your company? Some kind of shout out?
